Trevino Backyards stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship and the materials we install. Our warranty is designed to provide clarity, confidence, and long-term peace of mind for our clients while outlining realistic expectations for outdoor construction in South Texas conditions.
This warranty applies to custom pergolas, outdoor kitchens, patio covers, and outdoor living structures installed by Trevino Backyards, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Trevino Backyards provides a workmanship warranty covering installation-related issues resulting directly from our labor.
This includes:
Structural assembly errors
Improper fastening or installation methods
Issues caused by failure to follow standard construction practices
If a covered workmanship issue arises within the warranty period, Trevino Backyards will assess the concern and, if verified, make the necessary repairs at no cost for labor related to the original installation.
Many components used in our projects—such as roofing panels, hardware, appliances, grills, lighting, and specialty materials—are covered by manufacturer warranties, not Trevino Backyards directly.
These warranties:
Vary by product and manufacturer
Are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and limitations
May require product registration by the homeowner
Trevino Backyards will provide relevant manufacturer information upon request and can assist in facilitating claims when applicable, but we do not control or extend manufacturer coverage beyond their stated terms.
Due to the nature of outdoor construction and environmental exposure, the following are not covered under this warranty:
Normal wear and tear
Natural wood movement, including minor warping, checking, or hairline cracking
Fading, discoloration, or surface changes due to sun exposure
Weather-related damage (storms, flooding, hail, high winds, excessive heat, or humidity)
Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or lack of routine maintenance
Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by others
Issues resulting from ground movement, soil settling, or existing site conditions
Outdoor structures are subject to environmental factors beyond any contractor’s control, and natural changes over time are expected.
Proper care and routine maintenance are essential to preserving the appearance and performance of your outdoor space.
Homeowner responsibilities include:
Cleaning surfaces as recommended
Sealing or maintaining wood components when applicable
Following manufacturer care guidelines for appliances and finishes
Addressing drainage or landscape changes that may affect structures
Failure to maintain the installed features may void portions of this warranty.
If you believe an issue may be covered under this warranty:
Contact Trevino Backyards with a description of the concern
Provide photos or videos when requested
Allow reasonable access for inspection
Permit Trevino Backyards the opportunity to evaluate and resolve the issue
All warranty work must be authorized by Trevino Backyards in writing prior to any repairs.
This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and the original installation location unless otherwise specified. Trevino Backyards is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, inconvenience, or damage to surrounding property not directly related to our installation.
No additional warranties—express or implied—are provided beyond what is outlined on this page unless stated in a signed agreement.
